Friendly, from a civilized country where women can have an abortion without being harassed by hateful primitive christian fanatics, and where death penalty does not exist anymore.
I'm glad not to live in this occidental and christian version of Iran called USA.
I would ask if there's a difference between the Government exercising the Right/Duty, as ascribe by God/Consent of the Governed... (which can oftentimes legally be appealed, and which may take years/decades between the decision/sentence, and finally carrying out the death penalty)...
And Forcing All Responsibility for ending the Life of another, on one single & potentially vulnerable individual, who is looking at at least 9 months of personal effort/struggles versus the culturally pressured & promoted option of killing someone who has only been alive for a few months at the most??
Because it looks like something is different between the two.
Alternatively, if it's a true equivalency... why wouldn't Pro-Choice universal advocates, be for universal death penalty in case's of 1st degree murder?
